We, the parishioners of
Christ the King Parish Community united with our Holy Father, Cardinal
Archbishop and Pastor recognize our call to grow as a Faith Community. We come
with confidence, trust and gratitude to the Church, which beckons us to a
dynamic and ongoing renewal for the salvation of God’s people.
After reflecting on the
Gospel message by both individual and corporate prayer, we answer our call
by:

Worshipping God as a
community particularly in the celebration of the Eucharist and the other
sacraments of the church.

Creating and nourishing
diverse forms of spiritual and pastoral ministry.
·
Proclaiming the teachings of
Jesus Christ as revealed in Sacred Scripture, Tradition and the Magisterium of
the Church.
·
Teaching all facets of our
community through our Catholic Church, Catholic School, CCD and various adult
religious education programs.
·
Servicing and encouraging
the sick, grief stricken and lonely to a commitment of
hope.
·
Ministering to the seriously
sick and dying brothers and sisters at Frankford-Torresdale Hospital in the
spirit of compassion and healing.
We commit ourselves to our
ongoing parish renewal using our time, talent and treasure through the
intercession of the Blessed Mother, inspiration of the Holy Spirit and patronage
of Christ the King.
